Lindsay Lohan shopping at Dior on Rodeo Drive this week. What do you think of her outfit? Leave a comment and be as brutal or as nice as you please.

I started using St Tropez Everyday moisturiser last week and i’m very impressed. This is a moisturising lotion with a small amount of fake tan incorporated, therefore gradually building up a natural looking tan ~ basically a more expensive version of Johnson’s Holiday Skin.

I paid £8.99 (retail is £12.95) plus shipping from eBay at Tanning Etc, where the service was excellent ~ next day delivery! They currently don’t have this item listed so if you’d like to try it I would email them and ask if they will be re-stocking. It’s selling out fast as it’s only just been released and promises to be another must-have product gracing the pages of all the top fashion mags.

It’s perfect for me as i’ve never been able to get the hang of a ‘proper’ fake tan, which always ends up streaky and orange. This product comes in two shades: fair or medium/dark. I’m seriously hooked on this stuff and think it may blow a hole in my beauty budget this year!

St Tropez products are sold at HQ Hair

I thought it would be fun to do a weekly poll about what you all think is in or out. The poll is located in the right sidebar so why not cast your vote now? Each poll will be displayed for seven days and the results will be posted at the end of each seven day period.

Starting off this week with ‘plaid’…or ‘check’ as some people may call it. Jessica Simpson has been seen wearing plaid shirts (mainly by super-expensive label Great China Wall) throughout 2006 but I kind of thought this was going to be a fleeting trend, so I never indulged in it. However, all these plaid shirts and dresses keep popping up amongst the spring ranges so perhaps I was wrong?

Kate Middleton, the 24 year old girlfriend of Prince William, has attracted significant press coverage of late with continuous comparisons to Princess Diana. The media seems to want to portray her as a ‘fashion icon’ in the making, with People magazine commenting that Kate has “stepped up her style to royal heights”.

Kate recently landed herself the job of Assistant Buyer of Accessories for British label Jigsaw, confirming that it’s often ‘who you know’ rather than ‘what you know’(the owners of Jigsaw are a close family friend of Kate’s). I must say though, this is a smart move on their part – Kate Middleton could do for Jigsaw what other celebrity endorsements have done for so many brands.

Kate does certainly have a great deal of elegance about her. You can see this from her dress-down attire which is usually understated and chic. Cowboy boots or slouchy boots make her outfits young and fun. Although she has the tall and slender figure for it, you would never see Kate out in a skirt much above her knee. The look is safe, not daring, and it makes no statement. It is neat, co-ordinated and appropriate for a potential future queen.

There has been little published about the designers and labels Kate is actually dressing in. However, Kate obviously wears Jigsaw which fits with her classic look and The Telegraph has reported that she is a regular at Katherine Hooker for their fitted blazers at £425 a pop. Her bags are by Longchamp. Reassuringly, it has also been known for her to step out in Topshop.

She’s no style icon yet, but with designers queuing up to dress her, access to personal stylists and the figure and looks to carry it off, it won’t be too long before she’s moulded into one.

This Spring is most definately all about the volume. In the sleeves that is. All over the runway shows puffed-out or bell sleeves were on show and this is a look that has already filtered down on to the high street. The majority of Topshop’s online offering currently incorporates this trend. I think it’s quite a cute look and will make your outfit look instantly up to date. I’m not sure how this will fair with girls with chunky arms – it could look unflattering but I guess it’s just a case of trying it out in the shops. The following are all by Topshop:

It has been recently reported that Lily Allen could be the new face of high fashion label Chanel, following in the footsteps of Kate Moss and Nicole Kidman. The 21 year old singer/songwriter, who is known for her chav-like gold jewellery and trainers teamed with vintage prom-style dresses and who has been expelled from several schools, seems like an unlikely choice.

This girl certainly has attitude and has commanded a lot of media attention since she catapulted onto the scene, but the face of Chanel? Hmmm…i’m not so sure. What do you think the rationale behind this move could be? Chanel is a luxurious, expensive and sophisticated brand. Lily Allen is a chav. Simple as that.

The Sun newspaper commented that “Karl Lagerfield is convinced her signature style — chav meets couture — is going to be THE look of 2007″. We shall see.

Is it a yay or nay to this wool check bomber jacket? Is plaid and check very much in, on it’s way out or totally out? You might just be able to sneak a peak at the inside label for the brand, but if you can’t see it then i’m not going to tell you where it’s from! I don’t want to influence your opinions by informing you of brand and price. If you like it, what would you wear it with?

Petite Jessica Simpson and her tall new boyfriend John Mayer. What do you think of height differences? I’m only 5′3 but always go for men who are around 6 foot tall. Someone once told me that shorter people will often be attracted to taller than average people. Their subconscious is telling them to, so that together they would produce offspring of an average height. Well, whatever, Jess looks happy, that’s the main thing.

The gorgeous Hayden Pannettiere was photographed at L.A airport this week wearing this cute and comfy Little Miss Bad hoodie by Junk Food which is available now for only £34.99 at Truffle Shuffle 80s Clothing Ltd. I just bought mine quick before I posted here as I know they’ll sell out super-fast just like Britney Spears’ Little Miss Sunshine one has. This site has amazing customer service and offers same day despatch. Celebrities are going crazy for this merchandise at the moment – I recently posted about Britney’s little sis wearing Little Miss Naughty.

While you’re at Truffle Shuffle take a look at some of the other edgy tees, as they are perfect for spring and summer. This is a great way to look cool and casual when paired with jeans. Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan wearing Junk Food t-shirts:
