She began by describing to Peter Dooney just what she envisioned: a large leather shoulder bag with puffy pleats, a buckle closure and great style. The design team made some sketches, then Peter Dooney transformed her ideas into prototypes at Dooney & Bourke’s design studio in Florence, Italy. After several revisions and lots of input from Hayden, the limited edition Hayden Bag was born“.
Now the big question – do you like it? And would you pay $500 for it? Let the controversy begin.
I do like it, but I don’t think it’s earth shattering. I’d pay half that amount for that bag, Hayden or no Hayden.
I think most people would agree with you – the price is going to be an issue.

The colour red makes me go gaga over the bag, as it exudes a lot of sensuality, but the price tag has made me stop in my tracks.

I just won the CUTEST Dooney & Burke bag off http://www.portero.com I may have to start saving my money again though because this bag is adorable! It is the perfect look for summer- casual but classy. If I am going to buy a designer bag online though, portero.com is the only place I even look. All the ebay cases have freaked me out! Portero really is the only site that authenticates luxury items and I don’t want to risk getting something online that I could have bought in Chinatown.
So let ME start by saying this bag is cute! But let’s face it…this is a Dooney and Burke bag. Not gucci, prada or even louis but dooney. With that said, there is no way in HELL (or heaven for that matter) that I would pay $500 for it. Hayden or no Hayden.
