Reese Witherspoon Carries the YSL Yris
The Yves Saint Laurent Yris Hobo, retailing at a little over $1,000 and released earlier this year never achieved much popularity, especially if you compare it the the YSL Muse. The stock photograph at Neiman Marcus simply doesn’t do the bag justice. Reese Witherspoon was spotted in it last week and made it look sooo much better. 
The bag was reduced to a very reasonable $548 but is now all sold out online (probably on the back of Reese’s appearance with it!). As i’m in the UK it’s a bit too much hassle (and I don’t trust myself with a light coloured bag) but if it appeals to you then you could try Neiman’s fabulous ‘live chat’ facility. Ask them to try to locate the bag in one of their many stores and if you get lucky they’ll do a charge-send to your home.

Yes, I wonder how it slipped radar too. It’s gorgeous. But sometimes I think it takes a celeb wearing something for us to see how fabulous it actually is!
You know, I do like this bag but I think it would be a bit difficult finding things inside. I am almost certain everything goes to the bottom of it. The price is a quite steep for me but then again, what fab bags aren’t pricey? There are some other bags I like too like those made by a new breed of lux designers like Belen Echandia, Marcela Calvet, Meli Bianco, Lisandra Ochoa. I am planning on getting my boyfriend to buy me a new bag for my birthday (September). He makes pretty good money (more than me), and he’s so sweet. Well, I like jewelry too but about that one I am waiting for him to give me my RING (the diamond type of course).
