Trend Watch: Bubble Hem
The bubble hem (or ‘blouson’ hem as you may now hear it called) has been in and out for the past couple of years, or so it seems to me. One minute it’s cool, the next it’s not (and we all know how fickle fashion can be). Right now though, it looks like it’s making an appearance yet again. Nicole Richie recently sported the Michelle Mason bubble dress and has this week been followed by The Hills’ girls…Audrina and Whitney.
Whitney (on the right) is sporting the Catherine Malandrino ‘blouson’ dress [$475]; Lauren (middle) is wearing ‘Mint’ and Audrina (on the left) is dressed in a stunning strapless dress by Elizabeth & James [$395 at Neiman Marcus]. Elizabeth & James is the Olsens twins’ new clothing line and boy, do I think they’ve done a good job.
