Yay or Nay? : ASOS Stud Cuff Sandal
I thought these stud cuff sandals by ASOS (£18) were so unusual that they warranted a post. Is it a yay or a nay for you guys? Cheap and tacky or fashion-forward and funky?

Huge nay. Any shoes that have really prominent ankle strapping will really cut off your legline and give you stumpy legs!

I agree wholeheartedly girls – it was always a NAY for me. They look very cheap don’t they…amazes me how ASOS can justify the pricing on their own brand products.
I think there a yay they would look cute with denim shorts and there cheap enough to dispose of when the trend is over.
Nay! They look cheap and poorly made. I was torn at first sight b/c I thought maybe they could be considered avant garde, but definitely not!

Definite nay from me – I just can’t get on board with the whole “huge cuffs on strappy sandals” thing at all. And you’d have sweaty ankles and cold toes, too…,

definitely a NAY, they just look cheap. i prefer to stick with the the basic sandal look, simple and chic is the way to go. i’m obsessed with the simple mosaic style of the sandals i got from bluefly, so comfortable and no sweaty ankles!

I love the style but agree you have to have long slim legs to pull this look off.
I prefer Topshops beige suede-look version at £25. They are more expensive looking. Definitely a fashion forward.
