Yay or Nay? : J Crew Varsity Cardigan
I’ve never shopped at J Crew before but stumbled across this Heather Grey Varsity Cardigan yesterday. I’m intrigued by it and half of me says it’ll be a very comfortable (oversized style with cashmere) item which will look cute in Autumn/Fall over a white tank teemed with black jeans. Being the celebrity follower that I am the fact that it also reminds me of a sweater (with two purple stripes to the left sleeve) that Jennifer Aniston wore on Friends is also attracting me.
I think the other half of me is making me distancing myself because of the price…$128 (approx £63). Now, this may not seem too expensive to you but I don’t know J Crew and have never felt the quality of their garments. What do you think is it a Yay? Or Nay? Would you wear this?

. As for J.Crew’s quality, usually their clothes are very well made.
Jcrew has great quality clothes. I used to work at JCrew and their sweaters are very soft and this one is made of cashmere, so its worth every penny.

I think it’s really adorable and probably very useful. It’s not even my style, but I still like it. And J. Crew usually makes really good quality clothes. They are known to be over priced, but this one is partly made from cashmere and is very soft. I think $128 is a pretty good price.
I like this a lot, but at $128 whoa. But it is cashmere so the price is normal. Get it if you love it… you don’t wanna end up regretting not getting it.

I work for J.Crew. that cardigan is completely sold out in many stores now, including the one i work at. $128 might seem like a lot, but the cashmere comes from the Loro Piana mills. If you know Loro Piana, their cashmere is insanely expensive. This cardigan is a cashmere blend, not 100% cashmere. and just so you know or 100% cashmere is from Loro Piana as well, but at the fraction of thier prices. people buys these in bulk. its ridiculous

i have the sweater and i love it, but i definitely got it at the jcrew outlet store for around $65. i absolutely would not pay over $80 for it.
